MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM:
                      
The Dramafun Players-Musical Theater Troupe (Grades 5 and up)
The Dramafun Players is a performance troupe consisting of enthusiastic, dedicated young performers in grades 5 and up who are passionate about the performing arts. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a common passion and dedication. For the Spring semester we will be learning the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a one act comedic play.

Rehearses Saturdays 1:00pm-4:00pm @ 6A Studios, 24 Route 6A in Sandwich. Starts April 14,2018 and rehearses 8 weeks. No class on Saturday, April 21st.
FEE $200

Read through and first auditions are Saturday, April 14th from 1-4pm. First rehearsal is April 28th.
Final performance is Saturday, June 16th at 7pm at The Sandwich Town Hall auditorium.
 

Jr. Players-Musical Theater Troupe (Grades 3-5)

Our Jr. Players performance troupe consists of boys and girls in grades 3-5 who are passionate about the performing arts. For the Spring semester our Jr. Players troupe will be learning the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a one act comedic play.

Rehearses Tuesdays 4:00pm-5:00pm @ 6A Studios, 24 Route 6A in Sandwich. Starts April 10, 2018 and rehearses 8 weeks. No class on Tuesday, April 17th or 24th.
FEE $200

Read through and first auditions are Tuesday, April 10th from 4-5pm. First rehearsal is May 1st.
Final performance is Saturday, June 16th at 7pm at The Sandwich Town Hall auditorium.

Mini Players-Musical Theater Troupe (Grades 1-3) 
This new group is for enthusiastic and focused young performers who love to sing and dance. Students will learn two songs and dances from Broadway repertoire to share in a final performance. 

Rehearses Tuesdays 5:15pm-6:15pm @ 6A Studios, 24 Route 6A in Sandwich. Starts April 10, 2018 and rehearses 8 weeks. No class on Tuesday, April 17th or 24th.
FEE $150 (Contact me to be put on a wait list.)

Final performance is Saturday, June 16th at 11am at The Sandwich Town Hall auditorium.

Intro to Musical Theatre (Grades 1-3)
This new introductory class is designed for our youngest students in mind! Does your child love to sing and dance? Learn about the wonderful world of musical theater in a developmentally appropriate way. Learn songs and dances from popular Broadway shows. Students will share their work in class on the last day.

Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm. Starts April 11, 2018 and runs 8 weeks ending June 13th. No class on April 18th and May 23rd.

Musical Theater Voice Class (Ages 11 and up)
Do you love to sing? Than this is the class for you! Learn vocal technique in a group setting and the process of "telling the story of the song." Each student will work on a solo piece from Broadway repertoire and several ensemble numbers to share in class on the last day.  This is a great add on to our Musical Theater Dance class or great preparation for upcoming auditions. Class will be limited in size to ensure individual attention.

Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm with Courtenay Harrington-Bailey. 
Starts April 11, 2018 and runs 8 weeks ending June 13th. No class on April 18th and May 23rd.

Private Voice Instruction with Chris Bailey 
Study with a Broadway pro! Chris Bailey is now scheduling private voice lessons upon request. Chris was a singer on Broadway for many years, he has performed with rock bands,  a cappella groups, opera and more. His positive, nurturing teaching style and vocal techniques will enable serious singers to establish healthy habits that will allow them to sing a variety of styles. Please contact Courtenay to schedule a mutually agreeable time.
Fee $50/45 minute private lesson billed monthly

DRAMA PROGRAM:
Act Out! (3rd-5th grade)
This class is designed for students who want to focus on basic acting skills and who are ready for a goal-oriented challenge. Students will learn to be more expressive vocally and physically, and will begin to explore basic scene study. A short play will be rehearsed to share with family and friends in a final performance.

Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm Starts April 12th and runs for 9 weeks ending June 14,2018. No class April 19th.

Creative Drama (K-2nd grade)
This class is full of dramatic play, theatre games, and story enactment. We will focus on team building activities and games to help us become more expressive physically and vocally. The second half of the semester will be focused on rehearsing a short, 5-7 minute play that will be shared with friends and family in a final performance.

Thursdays 4-5pm Starts April 12 and runs for 9 weeks ending June 14, 2018. No class April 19th.

Creative Drama & Dance (K-2nd grade)
This class is full of music, dance, dramatic play, story enactment, imagination journeys, and theater games. Learn to sing songs and move expressively to music, act our stories and use your imagination! The second half of the semester is spent rehearsing a mini-musical to share with family and friends in a final performance.

Saturdays 11:30am-12:30pm Starts April 28 and runs for 6 weeks ending June 16,2018. No class May 26th.

Books Alive (Ages 4-5)
Your child will explore and enact a different book each week. Through active creative movement, dance, theater games, music, imagination journeys, stories, crafts and more your child will delight in portraying favorite characters and reenacting stories.  This class is a great introduction to the world of theater, dance, and "make-believe."

Saturdays 10:30am-11:15am Starts April 28 and runs for 6 weeks ending June 16,2018. No class May 26th.

MOVEMENT & DANCE PROGRAM

JazzFit Conditioning with Courtenay
Dance, move, and groove for an upbeat cardio class combined with some gentle stretches and core conditioning to get you feeling and looking your best. This non-competitive class can be modified to all levels of fitness

Tuesdays 8:00-9:00am Starts 4/26 and runs for 6 weeks ending 5/31/18.

What's "Tappening?" with Ringleader Pam
Come tap with us on Tuesdays! Dust off your old tap shoes from your younger days or just come in sneakers and learn the basic moves. No previous dance experience is needed.
Meets Tuesdays 6:30 pm-7:30pm -Starts 4/24 and runs for 8 weeks ending 6/12. Drop ins welcome!

Musical Theatre Dance (Ages 11 and up)

Musical Theatre Dance is an exciting class that explores the world of acting and dancing. We will explore a variety of dance styles commonly seen in Broadway musicals. Emphasis will be placed on learning proper posture, spatial awareness, and basic elements of grace and rhythm...but more importantly you'll have fun learning "new moves" in a relaxed dance environment. This class will be an excellent opportunity for students to prepare for school or community theatre auditions as well as developing confidence and stage presence.

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm with Courtenay.

Starts April 11, 2018 and runs 9 weeks ending June 13th. No class on April 18th.
